Prof. dr. Jim Heal
Jim Heal has over twenty years of experience in education as a teacher, principal, researcher, and writer. He currently works with Deans for Impact, a national non-profit working with Universities around the US to infuse cognitive science principles into teacher preparation. Prior to that, he was Director of Practice at Harvard University’s Research Schools International where he worked to bridge research and practice at the school and system level. He holds a Master’s Degree in School Leadership and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. Jim is the co-author of How Teaching Happens: Seminal Works in Teaching and Teacher Effectiveness and What They Mean in Practice.
